Sir Bedivere

Pawn

1992 Number 17 of 100

Sir Bedivere is sculpted in the position of taking his knightly vows, kneeling on a shield imbeded in the floor of Camelot's great hall. Bedivere was the only one to survive Arthur's last battle. The dying king was forced to command the reluctant Bedivere three times to throw the Excalibre back into the enchanted lake of Arroy from which it mysteriously originated.
